Position summary
The Production Planner III will be responsible for planning and developing feasible, long-range, master production schedules for finished goods and component items based on capacity requirements. This position will also track raw materials, purchased parts, and packaging supplies to ensure the correct amount of materials are available to meet the schedule.
Essential Job Functions
· Plan and manage production schedules in ERP system (and/or excel´ s spreadsheet) to meet customer delivery requirements and maximize operational efficiency
· Balance production and inventory levels with demand to support customer service levels, inventory turn goals, and capacity utilization requirements
· Maintain capacity planning
· Train and mentor Production Planner, I or II
· Analyze sales order releases with respect to capacity planning and material requirements
· Partner with sales and customer service on incoming orders and customer priorities
· Partner with other business segments: sales/marketing, customer service, engineering, quality, and finance
· Partner with Production, Engineering and Maintenance to allocate capacity for Maintenance and Engineering Runs/Validations
· Monitor production and shipping performance and proactively initiates actions to ensure delivery commitments are fulfilled
· Participate in tier meetings to provide schedule updates to operations, engineering, and quality
· Support and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements
· Read, understand, and follow work instructions and standard work
· Understand customer needs and the core business markets we serve
· Ensure business systems are implemented, maintained, and functioning properly
· Participate in required company meetings
· Maintain an organized work area (5S)
· Participate in the Operational Excellence Program
· Complete all other work duties as assigned
· Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
Minimum Requirements, Education & Experience (incl. KSA’s and certifications)
· Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
· 5 7 years of experience in a scheduling, planning, or project management role
· Ability to consistently achieve short and long-term business results
· Ability to follow through on commitments and holds team members accountable
· ERP knowledge (SAP, Epicor or equivalent)
· Strong problem-solving skills
· Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher)
· Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
· Attention to detail
· Excellent interpersonal and influence skills
· Organizational skills
· Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
· Ability to prioritize and multitask

Physical & Environmental Demands
Cretex Companies use cutting oils, solvents, and other chemicals in the manufacturing process. Testing is conducted on a periodic basis to ensure that all chemicals are kept well below the OSHA permissible exposure levels.
This pay range reflects the base hourly rate or annual salary for positions within this job grade, based on our market-based pay structures. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, internal equity, business needs, and local market conditions. While the full hiring range is shared for transparency, offers are rarely made at the minimum or maximum of the range.
