Overview

Position summary

Warehouse Lead will be responsible for assisting with all the different warehouse positions and duties. Including warehouse organization, materials receiving and shipping, inventory control and local purchases It will be the main point of contact for production inquiries. This position will also support the Purchasing and Logistic position and perform back up duties when needed.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions

· Execute receiving, inventory and shipping functions.

· Drive forklift and manual pallet jacker.

· Assist with training new warehouse employees.

· Reconcile the returns from production and make necessary adjustments before they are returned to the warehouse.

· Perform receiving activities, including inspection, documents verification, data entry in ERP and/or any log, of any material received at the site.

· Prepare kitting and deliver raw material jobs for production.

· Manage cycle count schedule.

· Reconcile discrepancies.

· Make necessary adjustments.

· Manage Inventory accuracy for raw materials, finish goods and consumables in stock.

· Responsible for maintaining an awareness of workplace safety and relevant training.

· Support and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements.

· Read, understand, and follow work instructions and standard work.

· Partner with other business segments: sales/marketing, customer service, engineering, quality, and finance.

· Ensure business systems are implemented, maintained, and functioning properly.

· Participate in required company meetings.

· Maintain an organized work area (5S).

· Participate in the Operational Excellence Program.

· Complete all other work duties as assigned.

· Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements, Education & Experience (incl. KSA’s and certifications)

· High School Diploma or equivalent.

· At least 3-5 years of experience of materials handling, preferably in a Warehouse or regulated environment.

· Forklift certified (or willingness to become certified).

· Valid Driver’s License.

· ERP software experience (desirable)

· Studies or experience in Purchasing (desirable)

· Strong leadership and decision-making skills.

· Knowledge of FIFO and traceability.

· Ability to recognize opportunities for improvement, establish LEAN initiatives.

· Must be able to read, understand, and write English (desirable).

· Previous Warehouse/Inventory experience.

· Previous basic inspection, shipping and receiving experience preferred.

· Previous lead experience preferred.

· Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher).

· Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.

· Attention to detail.

· Organizational skills.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

· Ability to prioritize and multitask.

 

Physical & Environmental Demands

Cretex Companies use cutting oils, solvents, and other chemicals in the manufacturing process. Testing is conducted on a periodic basis to ensure that all chemicals are kept well below the OSHA permissible exposure levels.

This pay range reflects the base hourly rate or annual salary for positions within this job grade, based on our market-based pay structures. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, internal equity, business needs, and local market conditions. While the full hiring range is shared for transparency, offers are rarely made at the minimum or maximum of the range.
